Gotham City FX has graciously offered to raffle of this amazing costume with 100% of the proceeds going to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Check out the information below for a complete description of the costume and information on how you can enter the raffle.
Description of costume:
This replica costume will fit a male 5'6 to 6'2, 140lbs through 200lbs. Magnetic belt is adjustable from a 34" waist up to 44". It is made from high grade urethane rubber, flexible to the wearer. Boots will be provided by size 8-12 and gloves will be provided by size S-XL.
Raffle details:
Please make sure to visit GCFX at booth number 249, 251, 253 to enter in your chance to win this amazing replica. Tickets for the raffle are set at $10 and a limited number of tickets will be sold. Tickets are only available for purchase at the GCFX booths on Friday, Sat and Sunday. We will draw the winner on Sunday. You do not need to be present to win. We will ship the costume to address listed on your raffle ticket if you are not present on Sunday. 100% of the raffle ticket sales are being donated to The Second Harvest Food Group of Central Florida. SHFBCF is a member of Feeding America – the largest charitable domestic hunger-relief organization in the United States. SHFBCF secures and distributes food and grocery products to approximately 500 agencies that feed the hungry throughout Central Florida. Last year, with the help of numerous donors, volunteers and a caring, committed community, the food bank distributed more than 32 million pounds of grocery products – the equivalent of more than 21 million meals – to partner agencies such as food pantries, soup kitchens, women’s shelters, senior centers, day care centers and Kids Cafes. Come out to see Joss Whedon’s web-musical Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog performed by the LIVE CAST of the Crazy Random Happenstance! They will be reenacting this cult classic in front of the screen, just like with the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Audience members are encouraged to sing, shout and bob along! Be sure to come in costume as there will be a costume contest for the best villain before the show. Who knows, you might even make it into the Evil League of Evil!

We are especially proud to announce the opportunity for fans to be able to get autographs from the legendary creator, Stan Lee during MegaCon 2012 in Orlando, Florida. Stan Lee is known as the creator of many great comic book characters such as Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Avengers, Incredible Hulk, X-Men and many more. A LIMITED NUMBER of tickets will be offered exclusively through Desert Wind Comics starting Tuesday, January 2nd, price for this special opportunity is $55.00 USD per autograph (which includes processing and handling fees). You must supply the item to be signed or you may purchase an item at the show to be signed. You are limited to 1 signature per ticket. You may purchase up to 10 tickets maximum. Emerald Rose returns to MegaCon!

Celtic steampunk, Hobbit dance music and Geek comedy are some of the main themes in Emerald Rose’s high energy musical performances. They’ve played at comic conventions and sci-fi shows across America for over a decade, and this is their third visit to MegaCon. Their music ranges from high energy Celtic songs, jigs and reels to geek-fueled garage rock . Their latest cd, Verdant has been topping the Celtic fusion charts and features their excursions into steampunk territory with songs like ‘Her Majesty’s Airship Corp’ and ‘Clockwork Love’. The band has had their music featured in several soundtracks, including Ringers: Lord of the Fans and Done the Impossible: The Fan’s Tale of Firefly & Serenity. Gamers all, it may be their geeky fun side that endears them most to their fans… the wacky humor of songs like ‘Vampire Girl from the Planet Orn’, ‘Chicken Raid of Cymru’ or the Dungeons and Dragons based ‘Never Split the Party’ will delight those who roll the dice. For years, comic writers and artists have breathed life into and transformed the characters and stories that have left indelible impressions on us. Now, comic fans have the opportunity to give back. Please come by the Heroes Initiative Booth and meet the legendary George Perez, Dan Didio, and other artists along with Heroes Initiative Costumers as they bring to life The New 52 Justice League and The Avengers. All weekend, there will be costumed heroes from DC and Marvel, who look like they’ve walked off the pages of a comic, to pose for you. There will also be a private area for you to get your pictures. Other artists and stars from the comic world will be added as we get updates, so please check back!
