TICKET QUESTIONS

How do I confirm that I have purchased advance tickets?
If you ordered your tickets online, you will automatically be sent an email confirmation letter. If you ordered your tickets by phone or in the mail you will either be emailed a confirmation, if email was available, or a confirmation will be sent by mail. If you did not receive a confirmation letter please email us at info@megaconvention.com.

Where do I pick up my advance tickets?
You pick your tickets up at the advance ticket booth in front of hall D2. They will not be sent by mail.

What time does the Advance Ticket Booth open?
Friday, February 25th at 11a.m.
Saturday, February 26th at 9a.m.
Sunday, February 27th at 9a.m

What do I need to get my advance tickets?
You will need a copy of your confirmation letter and a picture ID.

What happens if I forget my confirmation letter?
You can still get your tickets it may just take a little longer. You must however have a picture ID. Without the ID you cannot pick up your tickets.

What is the advantage of buying tickets in advance?
Picking up pre-ordered tickets is much faster then standing in line to purchase tickets. ***Friday Only!!! – Advance Ticket purchasers may enter the hall one hour early.

If I don’t buy my tickets in advance, what time do the regular ticket booths open?
Orange County Convention Center Ticket Booths open at the following times:
Friday, February 25th from 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, February 26th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, February 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

AUTOGRAPHS & GUEST QUESTIONS

How much does an autograph cost?
Autograph prices will vary but most will cost around $20.

Do I need to bring something for the star to sign?
Most stars provide a picture with their autograph. You can also bring in special items or you can purchase something at the show for them to sign. Sometimes what you have a star sign may make the price of the autographs vary.

When will the guests be available?
Every guest is scheduled to be at the show all three days except the following:
Julie Benz & John Kassir – Saturday & Sunday only
Joe Quesada – Friday & Saturday only

Will the guests be available all day for autographs?
Most of the guests will be signing all three days during show hours (please check the exception above). Please keep in mind they do take lunch and short breaks.
Joe Quesada and Mercedes McNab do have signing schedules. Please check the home page for that information.

Will anyone be signing autographs for free?
Mercedes McNab will be signing for free, but you must obtain an autograph coupon first.
Voice Actors Lex Lang and Sandy Fox, Joe Quesada, as well as many of the other comic book artists will also sign for free (no coupon is required for their signatures).

How do I obtain a coupon for Mercedes McNab’s free autograph?
You must come to the Information booth in front of hall D2. We will be handing out 400 coupons a day at the following times:
Friday, February 25th at 11a.m.
Saturday, February 26th at 9a.m.
Sunday, February 27th at 9a.m
These coupons will be handed out until they are all gone. Purchasing a Megacon ticket doe not guarantee a coupon. Please check the home page of the web site for rules & regulations.

Do all the artists sketch for free?
Some of the artists do sketch for free, but many sell their sketches. It is best to ask the individual artist first.

Do I have to purchase a MegaCon ticket in order to see Psycho Le Cemu?
Yes, you must have a MegaCon wristband in order to be let into the auditorium.

Is VIP seating available?
Yes, you can purchase VIP seating at the convention from House of Anime. There is an additional cost for this.

If I have VIP seating do I have to buy a MegaCon wristband?
Yes, all who enter the concert must have on a MegaCon wristband.

If I just want to go to the costume contest or panel discussions and not into the showroom hall do I still need to purchase a MegaCon wristband?
Yes
